Senior Snails

Senior Snails (4 years – kindergarten)

 

We provide a balance between their growing independence & eagerness to explore the world around them with nurturing & guidance toward the more structured classrooms that lies ahead.

 

Intellectually they will learn letters and words and math concepts. Small group instruction, playing independently in an organized atmosphere, and whole-group activities are provided. They ask and answer open-ended questions, understand sequencing of events and spatial relationships, and the concept of time.

 

Physical skills include large muscle development through obstacle courses, throwing balls, hopping, skipping, jumping, and gaining spatial awareness by moving to music.

 

Social skills include cooperating, negotiating, recognizing others feelings, and problem-solving with peers.
Emotional skills include making personal choices and sharing ideas, thoughts, and feelings with the group.
