ABOUT US

We take a balanced approach to learning.  We provide large center opportunities in a home-like environment.  We want your child to have fun as he/she develops.  We supply the tools in a caring and stimulating way.  We believe that curriculum is more than what you see on paper.  It includes everything that happens in the classrooms; from interacting, meal times, singing, and playing.

Playing with toys helps develop motor skills and teaches lessons about sharing.  Singing songs while washing hands teaches good hygiene and an interest in the arts.  All activities/lessons are planned with a specific lesson in mind.  We balance choice time and structured activity, group and individual lessons, teacher and child-directed experiences.

Our curriculum is structured around four key areas of development to include the growth of the whole child.  They are

Social: communication (verbal and nonverbal), friendship, self-esteem, confidence and negotiation skills for a lifetime of healthy relationships.

Emotional: safe & nurturing environment (home-like atmosphere), understand their individuality, confidence, and have fun being themelves.

Physical: motor-skill development, coordination, mobility, and exercise.

Intellectual: reading, writing, math, judgment, perception, memory, reasoning, critical thinking, and language.

We follow state licensing guidelines and adhere to our own higher standards of excellence.
